These Terms govern your use of the SpongeMail prelaunch landing page and $1 VIP reservation system operated by Underdog Kitchen.
The $1 VIP Reservation
- Paying $1 reserves your spot as a VIP. It is not a purchase of any product.
- In exchange, you receive priority access to the 4-Pack at the lowest price we will ever offer ($14.95) when we launch on Kickstarter.
- The $1 is fully refundable if requested before the Kickstarter campaign launches.
- After the campaign launches, the $1 becomes non-refundable and is applied toward your future pledge if you choose to back the project.
Stretch Goals & Art Submissions
- Pet Edition, My Kid’s Art Edition, and Backer Art Edition are stretch goals that may or may not be unlocked.
- Only verified 8-Pack or higher backers may submit art.
- By submitting any artwork or photo you grant Underdog Kitchen a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to print and distribute it on SpongeMail products.
- We reserve the right to reject any submission for legal, quality, or production reasons.
Intellectual Property
All SpongeMail branding, designs, and “SpongeMail” name are owned by Underdog Kitchen. You may not copy or reproduce them.

- All prices, dates, and stretch goals are estimates and subject to change.
- We are not responsible for manufacturing or shipping delays after the Kickstarter campaign ends.

There are two ways to enter the SpongeMail® Year’s Supply Giveaway:
Method A: The VIP Reservation (3 Entries) By choosing to become a SpongeMail® VIP and placing a $1.00 USD reservation deposit, you will automatically receive three (3) entries into the sweepstakes. The $1.00 deposit is for a product reservation and VIP perks; the sweepstakes entries are a free bonus for our Founding Patrons.
Method B: The Free Entry Form (3 Entries) To enter without making a $1.00 reservation, please complete the [Free Entry Form Here]. Each valid form submission grants three (3) entries, equal to the VIP reservation method.
Note: Limit one (1) form submission per person. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.
The Prize
One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a "Year's Supply" of SpongeMail®, consisting of forty-eight (48) individual cellulose sponges from our Art & Original Collections.
Retail Value: Approximately $144.00 USD.
Odds of Winning: The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Selection and Notification
The winner will be selected via a random drawing within seven (7) days of the Kickstarter Launch. The winner will be notified via the email address provided during entry. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, an alternate winner may be selected.
General Terms
By participating, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules. SpongeMail® reserves the right to cancel or modify the sweepstakes if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the drawing. Void where prohibited by law.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA.
